An Inconvenient Truth

Just a quick note to recommend this movie. I can tell you, as a right leaner, I have never liked Al Gore. But after this movie... I was moved. I'm not one to fall for political bullshit, but Al Gore has sold me hook, line and sinker. He cares about the environment, and every one of us better take heed--and soon. I've supported the administration about some things, but they have blantantly ignored alternative fuels, aside from lip service in the State of the Union.

I'm not a persuasive writer. Just see this movie, no matter how you lean.

I just watched An Inconvenient Truth last night and was thinking of posting about it. Now I'll just link to you since I think it'll mean more coming from a right-leaner than a die-hard Liberal Lefty Pinko Commie Scum. ;-)

And Bhaswati, it has been a long time. Way too long. Thanks for the well wishes, and same back atcha.

I really want to see this movie.
I am so excited that the world is getting off its a$$ and realising the environmental issues touch us--now. Not some futuristic worry our kids are left to deal with.

Same here Toni. I really hope that really do something about this, before it's too late.

Ashamedly, as a self-professed "die-hard Liberal Lefty Pinko Commie Scum" I haven't seen this film yet though I'm dying to. After you and several other recommendations it's a must see ASAP.

It does sound like a must see. I'm just in denial in certain aspects of my life--one being that the world might come to boil and kill us all. I realize that's a terrible attitude, so I'll see it soon. Thanks.

I need to see if they have it at Blockbuster. I've heard good things about it. But, I doubt it will change anything in the way of conservation efforts in our government. Greed rules!

Scott, I called myself a Pinko... ;-)

I haven't seen this so thanks for the recommendation.

I'm an independant who couldn't decide between Gore and Bush and so just didn't vote that time. (I know - bad Tee.)

I didn't particularly like Gore very much but the more I see of him and the way he speaks so sincerely on things he cares about - I have to say, he's grown on me.
