I love this picture. Is it wrong for laughing hysterically at it?

If it's wrong, then you and I are in the same boat.

Wonderful glimpse into the melee, Scott! I love it. :)

Can't wait until my daughter starts playing next year...

What a great shot. Did you take it? Soccer isn't for woosies, that's for sure...so where's the jock strap post, my friend? Hahahaha...

Tera - My son is known throughout the league for having a howitzer leg. There's only a couple of kids that can kick as far as he can. Those kids are enjoying an oh shit moment.

Sara - You should volunteer to coach, and/or get the hubby to do it. Despite the headaches that I have described, it has been well worth it.

Kathie - Actually I haven't worn a jock since high school. They are not comfortable! As for the shot, it was taken by the father of the girl on the left (our left), and he has chronicled our entire up and down season. If these kids were pros, this shot would make the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Does that mean Number 1 is Jackson?!

That's the advantage of being the coach's kid; you get to choose your jersey before anyone else does!

Very cute picture.

My son got labeled 'the bulldog' last soccer match. I told him it was a good thing, not an insult. So he turned to me and said. "You're a bulldog too mom." :)

Hahahah! YES! That is freaking great! Kids rock.

That makes it all worth it, eh?

Ha ha! I've pulled faces like that playing soccer. I didn't have the excuse of childhood.

Now if those kids had their tongues out, as well as their eyes closed, they could be me.
