A La Moni

Ok Moni, here you go:

Four jobs I've had:

Windshield Washer at Chevron
Bagger at a grocery store
Burger flipper at McDonalds
Car Salesman

Four Movies I Could Watch Over and Over again:

Breakfast Club - It's in my profile, but it's my favorite
Braveheart
The Gods Must Be Crazy
Outside Providence

Four TV Shows I Love:

Battlestar Galactica - The new one. The best drama on TV of any genre.
Deadwood - Seth Bullock is the man I wish I was. Perhaps he could simmer down just a bit.
Six Feet Under - May it rest in peace
The Sopranos - It can't end well

Four Places I've Lived:

Juneau, Alaska
San Francisco
Seattle
Couer d' Alene, Idaho

Four Favorite Dishes:

Beef Stroganof
Cheeseburger and Fries
Prime Rib
Pot Roast

Four Sites I Visit Daily:

The Dallas Cowboys Blog - Even in the off season, I just have to know the scoop.
PowerLine - Nothing liberal about it, and no bullshit either. These guys busted Dan Rather when he and his cronies tried to pull a fast one.
RealClearPolitics - A good spread of various news sources to quickly catch up on the breaking stories
Victor Davis Hanson - You might not like him if you're a hard-core liberal, but I challenge you to descredit his logic

Four Places I'd Rather Be Right Now

Sitting in the cockpit of my new MiG figher jet
Watching the Dallas cheerleaders taking a shower
Sitting on a rock I found atop Mt. Tamalpais that had a perfect saddle
Seeing San Francisco from Twin Peaks on a clear night, or from a vantage point on the Saucalito side where it seems you could reach out and touch the Golden Gate, at Fort Point where Kim Novak once dove in to be pulled back out by Jimmy Stewart
With my mom the day before she died

Oh--being with your mom the day before she died, that's a huge one.

You've lived in Alaska? Now that is cool.

I had a good laugh about your stalker post. You definately weren't a stalker!
There was a boy who used to follow me around in six form and who wrote a screenplay with me as the central character (he must have had a great imagination because I was incredibly shy & boring). But he just wouldn't get the message. It went on for 2 years, nothing subtle ever worked and eventually I went for non-subtle, but he still followed me to university. Hope he's as happy as you are now! Not that I am comparing myself in ANY way to Malibu Barbie.

Aww the last one Scott - tugged my heart.

Toni - that's a stalker.

He was just a boy.

Scott- I forgot to tell you that I started watching Six Feet Under. Love it! The mom is my favorite character. She's so multi-dimensional.

Good answers. I too like the last one, but wouldn't you rather spend a day with her at a time when she was healthy?

Toni - Alaska was cool--too cool. Thanks for the backup on the stalker issue. It's good to hear that someone can be flattered by a little attention and not overreact.

Eve - It's not stalking until she says it is, right?

Natalie - Ruth is totally awesome. Her acting is second-to-none. She goes through several arcs throughout the seasons, so I promise she won't disappoint you.

As far as my mother is concerned, true, it would be nice to spend the time with her healthy. I just wish I could have been there when she was able to speak. By the time I got there she was only able to squeeze my hand. I posted about it a long time ago. I think you knew that, because I've been visiting your blog since I started this crazy thing.

Now I have two more movies to add to my list. I haven't seen The Gods Must Be Crazy or Outside Providence.

I too flipped burgers at Mickey D's, part of an elite group are we.

You like the Breakfast Club? How'd I miss that on your profile, anyway it was a true anthem for kids growing up in the 80's Did you have a crush on Molly Ringwald? huh? fess up. ;)

Six Feet Under---I've heard so much about that show, sadly I am still deprived of having HBO.

You lived in Alaska--did you like it?

Sitting in the cockpit of my new MIG fighter.-- Dude, buy American. (I'm teasing you) ;P

With your mom the day before she died.-- Awwe sweetie, I'm sorry. It helps to think that we will see our loved ones again someday. (hugs)

Trina - You have to let me know what you thought of the movies. The Gods Must Be Crazy I saw in college, so it's old. I saw it at a dollar theatre on a whim, and I've never laughed so hard--ever.

Moni - I say MiG fighter because they can be purchased the last time I checked. No crush on Molly--sorry. I don't know why. Actually, sexual attraction had nothing to do with this one. I wanted to be part of the Brat pack. I worshipped the whole lot of them. The theme of that movie is one that I hope to someday capture in a story of my own. True brilliance.

You can rent Six Feet Under. Do it!

Alaska? I don't live there now, and half of my school loan would have been forgiven to go to work there. Do you need more?

As for Mom, I just want to talk to her one more time.

Prime Rib? Now I'm hungry. Your favorite foods mirror mine.
