Well done, Scott. A little autobiographical fantasy?

There is a grain of truth to it. But in real life, I would have broken my fist had I tried it. In real life I kept my mouth shut, and there wasn't a hot chick in the passenger seat, but a good ole boy making cracks that pissed me off worse than dad.

What you aren't picking up on, and what nobody will for that matter, is that Jonah is the same guy from my Damned Carnival story. I thought I would explore his past a little.

Hey, Scott, just read it and loved it. I left my comments on Jason's site. Nice work!

I'll be sure to check it out at some point today. Having a bit of a problem with mom today, so blogging is hit and miss.

Actually, I had remembered that Jonah was the assassin's name and figured this was a little bit to add to his character. I liked it.

Kat - Cool, I'm glad you figured that one out!

Mr. Schprock - I saw the comments. Totally appreciated. I haven't seen yours come up yet, but I will definitely show my support when it does. Good stuff back at you buddy.

Bailey - I hope your mom is doing ok. I know it has been getting tougher lately.

Wow, this is really good, I especially liked the last line.
"Steel-grey eyes of the conqueror bore down on her." Gives me chills.

It's really great to watch you get better with each effort.

Great story.

Rebecca-I'm glad you liked the ending. Thanks for giving it a read!

Jason - You earned it. I'm giving nothing here.

Flood - Wow. Thanks a lot for that.
